Helping organizations mobilize volunteers toward positive social change drives our small but mighty team day in and day out. We develop simple software solutions for the complex challenges volunteer schedulers face, and focus all of our efforts on building strong relationships with each and every client we have the privilege of serving.

We know that as community leaders, you work hard to support volunteers and keep your programs and ministries running smoothly. What’s more, we understand that volunteer management is a means to a greater end. Whether your church schedules homebound ministry or your nonprofit helps to feed the hungry, your volunteers show up to do the work because they want to see their communities strengthened and their corners of the world made better. And so do we.

How can organizations support remote teams coming together? What tools and practices support intentional collaboration and cross-functional understanding? Enter Fishbowls, a fun and simple way for organizations to level-up cross-departmental connections, foster a stronger team culture, and achieve greater collaborative success.

At Rotunda Software, we deeply value our connections with our clients and build every relationship on a foundation of service. Over time, we’ve learned a thing or two about developing strong connections with our clients, and we wanted to share those things with you as you build relationships with your team and community. It comes down to one key factor: start with service.

Rotunda Software is a fully remote team, typically connecting via email, chat, and video calls. While we don’t share an office building, we are a close-knit team, thanks in part to our team retreats. We relish the opportunity to work and laugh together, and going on retreats as a team has been a staple at Rotunda for a reason: it brings our company values to fruition! Working and spending time together builds our inter-office relationships and makes us a stronger team. And while 2020 may have put a damper on meeting in person, we still found a way to stay connected and grow together with WORC IT! Rotunda’s Week of Remote Connection.

Every Friday at Rotunda Software, the weekly newsletter lands in email inboxes company-wide signaling the end of another productive week. At many companies, the internal newsletter is a skippable item - so what makes Rotunda's so unique?

Rotunda Software has six shared values that not only lead us in why we do our work, but how we do it as well. One of these values, “our work is our art,” makes it that much more exciting to see our team using the products that we spend so much time creating and improving. Daily use of our programs means that everyone benefits; our products see development that is timely and use-based, which benefits our clients, and it helps keep our internal work on track and on time. Here are a few ways that we use our Rotunda Software products within our personal and professional lives!

In a time when data and security breaches are happening at an alarming rate, data security has never been more critical. While some companies tout their security measures merely as a platitude, Rotunda Software places the safety and security of our data as one of our top priorities.

Rotunda Software, the creator of scheduling software Volunteer Scheduler Pro, is proud to announce a partnership with the Town and Village of Red Hook, New York, and their newly formed volunteer initiative, Red Hook Responds.

Rotunda is a fully remote team with a remarkably close-knit company culture. But of all the practices we have adopted to bring our remote team together, the annual all-hands Rotunda retreat stands out as the most important, or, at least, the most fun.
